We got some bad news the other day – the vet says I have lung mets now. There are about 6-8 of them that they can see. They said something about nearing the end of time and that we need to start making preparations for my trip to the Rainbow Bridge.
Honestly, I’m not sure what all that means, I just want to let everyone know that I am still living in the moment and having fun with my pawrents and my favorite things…
For example, here I am playing with my ball. I am perfectly content playing with my ball. I used to love to fetch it, and I occasionally still want to chase after it, but I have found that I enjoy just hanging out and playing with my ball in one spot.
I’m not sure how many more posts I will be able to do, but in case I have to leave for the Rainbow Bridge before my next post, just know I really appreciate all of you joining me on my journey and I’ll wait patiently on the other side of the Bridge so we can play together with some of my favorite things again.
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOU SEBASTIAN!!! ๐ ๐
I know Vets feel a need to make “guesses about timeframes”.
I also know Sebastian is still being Sebastion and that’s the best guage of all! Nope, not today Sebastian. Not going anywhere today and not tomorrow either. Just keep enjoying one day at a time…..and you are doing that beautifully!! ๐
Isn’t amazing how dogs adapt and still find fun in thi gs they enjoy, even if it means making “adjustments”. Sebastian is sooooo happy playing with his ball without over exerting himself at all! His is wagging and he is smiling and wuite proud of himself! I do believe he knows how cute he is!! ๐
MORE!! We cannot get enough of this adorable boy! Keep the videos coming!
Sending love and hugs to all
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Sebastian is a very beautiful, smart, and happy boy! What a wonderful job youโve done & have been doing. Heโs a blessed boy.
I understand planning ahead. And with the way youโve loved him, I donโt doubt that you and he will know when itโs time.
God bless you.
Jo, Mikey the Tripawd pup & Pumpkin the grumpy cat.
Oh wow, where to start. Took me a few days to do this, I definitely need to learn to be more dog!!! Sebastian, your handsomeness is just breathtaking! You are such a happy boy and I am so glad that you have the absolutely best pawrents in the world! If I said I didn’t cry when I read your post then I would be lying, but you know what? Your experiences with him have been just so heart warming ๐
Sally is right, it ain’t gonna be today, and by the looks of him you still have some wonderful time left together and I look forward to more videos and pictures! You have time right now to celebrate his LIFE, and because of you he has had a wonderful life and I would bet he has enabled a very special kind of love that most people never get to experience. When he was playing in that video, not once did I see a time stamp magically appear on his butt… the doctors cannot really know for sure how much time he has. They are only doctors, not gods. I will continue to celebrate his life with you to the end, and I hope that end takes a long time to get here!
You are all in my heart, sending you the biggest of hugs,
Jackie, Huckleberry, and the rest of our crazy crew
xoxo

Sebastian and Mojo… such beautiful Doodles!!! My Gongases!!!
It is so very hard to focus on The Now sometimes, but when I see Sebastian playing with his ball and rolling around in the grass, I see a pup that is soooo very hoppy!!! Hoppy to be with you, Hoppy to be with his darling sister and just plain old Hoppy to be…!!
Stay focused in the moments with your boy and donโt give those ๐ฉ Mets any power!!!
Take care and all the best
Petra, Stewie and his Pride Of kittens.
